So yesterday we had family pictures & today I am relieved they are done!!! I have put so much money, time & effort into making sure that we all looked our best for pictures. Last Saturday I dyed my husby's hair black :). Just like it was when I first met him :) :). Ahhh memories...anyways back on track! If you know me well, you know I'm the worst procrastinator in the world! Well I waited until a week before pictures to order Ashtynn's cute outfit & hairpiece. Needless to say, I was freaking out about them not getting there in time. Well the outfit got here at noon the day of pictures ThAnK GoOdNeSs!! But Ash's hairpiece didn't get here till 3:30 & we didn't have time to run back to the house, not to mention the crappy weather!!!! So I am pretty bummed that we couldn't use it because it is the cutest thing ever & would've matched perfectly!!! I told Zac we will have to get more pictures done so we can use it :) LOL the things he puts up. I love you honey!! It was so nice, Zac took the day off {& I couldn't have gotten things or Ashtynn ready without him, thank you babe! He did her hair for pics & it looked so cute! I also ordered Ash & I jewelry to match our outfits from Ruby Sweetheart. Jazlyn did such a fantastic job!! They look soo good!
Well, earlier in the week I had gotten my nails done {by my long lost bestie Cindee<3} Ashtynn got her 2nd haircut, but first time in a salon in the chair! Kaycee {another long lost bestie} did such a good job! It was just a trim but it made it soo much easier to curl :). The next day I got my hair done. I wasn't planning on going back dark, but I <3 it & missed it so much!!!!!!!! Kaycee did AmaZing!!! :). And to top it off, the lil sweetheart taught me how to curl my hair using my straightener &&& did my hair the day of pictures! Soo dang sweet!!
So anyways it was soo cold & rainy but thank goodness the rain stopped right before we started to take pictures. It was fantastic!
Kari Morris from Sweet Reflections Photography took our pictures & did a really amazing job! Her husband was there as well & they are the sweetest people you could meet. Ash was a little cranky but she still managed to get some good pictures.

I also put up a funny picture of Ash, she hates loud trucks & other automobiles...anyways she freaks out every Wednesday when the garbage truck comes by. It's so sad, the other week I was in the shower, heard her screaming, ran out to find her cowering under a chair :(.

This was Ashy as we were pulling into Maesar, sweet girl had just fallen asleep too when we got there. :(.

Surgery

Well right now I am in a bed, with an IV, waiting for my turn to get operated on! I am really nervous & hungry! Zac is here with me thank goodness, keeping me laughing & my mind off surgery.
My mom is going to watch Ashtynn for the weekend so I have time to recover. And my papa is going to take babes at 2:00 and have some mysterious fun! LOL!! I am so thankful for all of my family & friends who are always there for me and helping out so much! I don't know what else to say, but Thank You!!
On a sad note, my father in law, Phil, passed away on September 2 & the memorial was on September 13th. It is such a tragic thing for a family to lose their father, son, brother, uncle, friend. The positive thing is that Chris, Shiloh, Alexis and Haiden flew in from Germany for a week so we were all able to spend some time together & we had a blast!!!!
So anyways, wish me luck!!

Oh my gosh, it has been months since my last post!! There are a few reasons as to why I have disappeared from Blogger.....
1. My mom's computer broke, and now we aren't allowed back on the computer because of viruses.
2. I don't like going to the Library to upload pictures and post private stuff on a public computer.
3. I am on my brother's laptop right now, and he is moving to Colorado tomorrow, so I guess I will be gone again until further notice.

Let's get on with the post shall we?

Today Ashtynn Jaimes Andreasen was welcomed into this world at 4:56 PM. I still remember the Labor and Delivery just like it was last week! We are so blessed to have been given such a beautiful little girl from our Heavenly Father. She wasn't planned, but she sure changed our life around full circle, and for the better. She has made us both better spouses, siblings and loving and caring parents. Here are a few fun facts about Ashtynn. (AND since I am so far behind on posting, I am going to post some things she has been doing for a while.)

In June, my Mom & I entered Ashy into The America's Freedom Festival Pageant in Orem, UT. She placed 3rd in the 10-12 month division!!!! We are soo proud of her!

Aunt Emmy came home July 24 and we have been loving on her ever since. She has to go back home tomorrow, (which is her and Zak's 3rd wedding anniversary). We are really going to miss her, but her babies & hubby miss her, and we will see her again in September for Reed & Rondee's wedding! YAY!!!!

Ashy can now pull herself up onto and walk along furniture, the walls, her crib, her playpen, and pretty much anything she can pull up on!

She crawls EVERYWHERE! And she moves fast too, if you aren't keeping an eye on her, she will be in a whole different room, getting into all sorts of stuff that is a no-no! :)

Ash can say "Up, No & Hi!" She loves to shake her head "no" & occasionally will shake it up and down for a "yes". And LOVES to clap her hands when anyone says "YAY!" She started waving back in June or July, but it has been perfected into a pageant wave! It is the CUTEST THING EVER!!!

Ashtynn is definitely a healthy eater, as you well know if you have seen my little girl! ;) She eats anywhere from 28-36 ounces of food and about 20 ounces of formula a day.

We had Ashtynn's Birthday Party on August 14, 2010 at Independence Park. We had so much fun and it was a great success! (I think, it was my first time planning a party, so I hope it was ok!) I hope when Ash looks back at the pictures, she will know just how loved she is. It was hot pink and zebra theme and it turned out soo darn cute! I want to thank my momma, for helping out soooo much with much needed items (i.e. Kitchen table, high chair, bassinet, recliner, crib bedding set, birthday invitations, etc.) You truly are the best mother in the world, and I hope someday Ash will see me as I see you. Thank you Mama, I love you so much! Thanks to my sissy Emily, for helping out so much with planning, pictures, and keeping the little bug entertained while mommy was stressing out! :) Thank you Zac, for putting up with your crazy, stressed out wife, well, for forever I hope!! :) Thank you to all my friends and family members who came to support Ashtynn on her big and important day! I appreciate you all so much and I love you all!!!

There is soo much more stuff about my little one that I have to tell, but it is written down in my calendar at my house! I will have to do my next post at USU library or something.........so we can get the facts straight!

5 Months Old & Lots of Pictures

Wow does time fly by or what?! Our baby girl is already 5 months old. {Actually in 10 days she will be 6 months, that is how far behind I am!} We just love her more and more everyday! She makes us laugh all the time with her noises & actions! Here are some things she has been doing/loving/hating.

Hey all! It's been a while since my last post....life with a baby is BUSY! You hear that, but until you have one of your own, you don't realize it! Anyways Ashtynn is already 4 months old! She had her well-health checkup on the 21st. She weighs 13 pounds 13 ounces and is 25.14 inches long. She had to get the polio vaccination and the shots...which of course she SCREAMED for....and she was asleep and happy before the nurse squirted it in her mouth..so she was already screaming by the time the shots came...poor girl!!! Anyways she is doing lots better now Thank Goodness!
Here are some things our baby girl is doing at 4 months. She rolled over for the first time on December 9th and laughed on December 15. (She kinda did a little laugh on the 7th, but she was full out laughing on the 15) So Flippin CUTE!!!!!

3 Months

So our little Ashtynn is already 3 months old! It was on the 17th, so I'm a tad behind, but with a kid, it's understandable. :)

Here are some things she's doing.

For the most part, she is a happy baby! I can't wait to post some pictures. I will be sending out some Christmas cards, so if you want one, I need your addresses please!

ALSO!! My brothers come home from their missions on December 10th! I can't believe it's been 2 years! Well, I kind of can. They left right after Zac and I got married so they missed the whole pregnancy and birth, but they are coming home just in time to see her start smiling and laughing. Emily is also coming home December 10th. I cannot WAIT to have my sissy back home, unfortunately it's only for 16 days, but we will take what we can get!!!

Oh and on another note...Ashtynn Jaimes was born August 17, 2009 at 4:56 pm. She weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and is 18.25 inches long. She is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!!!! I love her to death!

Ya and I would TOTALLY rather go through labor and delivery again (14 hours) than 10 months of pregnancy!!!!!!! (Except I do really miss her moving around inside me)

Absence Makes the Heart grow Fonder

Hey guys sorry I have been missing for the past month!! Things have been crazy hectic and I just haven't found the time to post anything new on here.

Just to update you on a couple of things. Baby Girl moves ALL THE TIME! I love when she kicks it's so amazing feeling. Sometimes it looks like my belly is having seizures, but she's just got the hiccups, which is soo cute! We cannot wait to meet her! We are almost at 29 weeks so 11 short weeks to go..

We just painted and re-carpeted her room so now it's the best in the house. We put the new recliner back in there and I passed out in it last night. I love the smell of fresh new carpet and paint!!!!!

Another thing is I won't be making it private until she's born so you have 11 more weeks to leave me your emails peoples!!!!

Here is our bundle of joy at 13 weeks. It has grown SOO much since the 9 week ultrasound! It was so cool to see it move and kick its little legs and it's little heart beating! Anyways here are some pictures of the baby, since it's starting to look like a baby now!!!

Oh, update on mom to be. Doing Fabulous!! Haven't thrown up in a few days (Whew) so I am thrilled about that. Doc says I am still losing weight, but by the next time I should be gaining and maybe we can see the sex! I hope so! Anyways I'll post something in 4 weeks!!!

One Year of Wedded Bliss!

Okay six random things about myself:

#1 I’m a HUGE procrastinator. I always say I am going to get it done by this certain amount of time, then 6 months later, I still have no progress! For example: Zac & I were married December 1, 2007 and we didn’t order our wedding pictures until a couple of months ago. GEEZ!

#2 When I am offended, I go CRAZY. Especially if I am offended by a close friend, or family member. I am not excusing my behavior or what I do while I am angry because looking back on it, it’s disgusting. But one thing I always do and that is I go for the worst of the worst of somebody’s faults, or struggles and I am not saying I don’t have my own, I just want them to hurt as much as they hurt me. Maybe I just gave too much info, maybe somebody reading this will understand why I said the things I said….

#3 I hate mornings. Seriously I HATE THEM. Almost every single say I get would say I get sick, only in the mornings. I really love my sleep and I am so grateful for the weekends! Otherwise I’d be one cranky bitch!!!

#4 I freaking LOVE true crime stores. I go online everyday to crimelibrary.com just to read and read! I really like the stories and books that go into detail about the serial killer, or rapist, or the actual murder/torture/rape itself. I know I AM SICK! It’s weird though because I can read about it, but when it comes to watching that kind of stuff I can’t!!!! But if you know me and have hung out with me, you most likely have heard a story or two about a sick pervert! I think Dahmer, & H.H. Holmes were the most fascinating!

#5 I am a shitty wife. I don’t cook dinner for my husband, I don’t have dinner on the table for when he gets home after a long day out in the oilfield, and the house sure as hell isn’t clean. I also work full time, so when I get home, I like to relax and not clean and it’s covered in dog hair and I am just to the point of giving up on it ever being a nice home to live in. Now about dinner wise, I love my momma’s cooking and hers only. But the thing is, we don’t crave full meals, it’s more like ramen noodles, or a burger or something unhealthy. No wonder I am sick all the time. I never eat anything nutritional.

#6 It REALLY pisses me off when I hear about people criticizing adopting or the fact that my parents adopted because to quote their words “weren’t good enough parents to have their own kids”. When I heard that I bawled. Not because it hurt my feelings, but because it hurt my Mom’s feelings. How hard is it to have a baby>? For some, not at all, but for others, yeah it is. But these people have 7 kids, yea it must have been hard to lay down and spread eagle. And just because we are adopted, it doesn’t mean we weren’t wanted. That is what really drives me crazy. We know our parents did the best thing for us and I couldn’t imagine my life with my parents, who I have now, and my sister, and my wonderful brothers. I thank God that they chose to put us up for adoption; otherwise, I might not be here today. I would MUCH rather see a baby go into a loving home where the parents weren’t blessed with children than to be aborted at the first signs of life. So I am SOO Pro Adoption. If it can save one kid that might have been terminated I am ok with that.

So we decided on Saturday that we wanted to put up our Christmas Tree. We are aware that it isn't even Thanksgiving yet, but you never get to have the pleasure of looking at all your hard work on your tree for very long at all, so this way, we do!

I didn't crave anything & the things I did crave I could only eat a part of it because it was so nauseating. WEIRD. Anyways finally it's back and I couldn't be more thankful! I was happy to be losing the weight, but I missed my food!

Everyday at lunch I get the same thing,

a quarter pounder with cheese extra pickles &

a bowl of beef flavored ramen.YUMMY just thinking about it now makes me wanna go home and eat the day away! I think i'm going to eat a ham sandwich now to fill me up until I go to lunch which is usually after 2:00!

Addictions

So yesterday was the tax deadline (SOO BUSY) and now today we are slower than slow! So I decided to post a few of my addictions!!!! In no particular order:

Addiction #1

The simplest & most precious of things I think. I am SOO addicted to Zac it's not even funny. We've been together 3 years and we still hate being apart even if it's in the middle of the day and we are both at work! He is the most amazing man I have ever met. He is so selfless, caring & helpful. He wakes me up with a kiss EVERY time, cooks me breakfast on the weekends, and pretty much EVERYTHING I could ever need or ask for! I love you Zac, thank you for choosing me to spend your life with! I love you!!!

Addiction #2

Ok so this one, if you know me, is a TOTAL give-in. I love love love Myspace. I think Tom is a damn genius for creating it. I wish I had the internet at my house so that I could check it every day. I am sure Zac is thankful we don't have it as of now, because I can spend hours on there. And since my work blocked it, I only get to check it on Sundays when I visit my parents for family dinner.

Addiction #3

This addiction is thanks to Miquel. She told me about this site where people post their secrets anonymously every Sunday, and now I read it religiously every Monday morning before I start my work! The site is postsecret.com and some of the secrets are pretty funny or intense.

Addiction #4

TEXTING! I LOVE to text & I hate talking on the phone. If I could text everybody rather than call them, I totally would. I wish everyone would get on board with my plan! HAHA

Addiction #5

Chelsea Lately. I already have posted about Chelsea, but I don't care. I love this bitch. She is the funniest woman comedian ever. Zac & I watch her show every night at 9:30 or record it and watch it together after we get off work. She has the best round table guests (We like Brad Wollack he's hilarious) and when she interviews guests, talk about being blunt!

Addiction #6

Nancy Grace. She is kind of a witch sometimes, but other times gentle as a rabbit lol. I watch her every night at 6 if I am home lately because of Caylee Anthony. That story really brought me in and I haven't stopped following it since her grandparents reported her missing. But the other day Casey Anthony was indicted for Murder 1 along with several other charges. FINALLY. It's so disgusting to live in a world where mother's will murder their babies and toss their precious bodies away as if it were regular garbage. I have one thing to say about that. DON'T HAVE A FREAKING KID IF YOU AREN't WILLING TO LOVE & CARE FOR IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE! Stupid jackasses. Obviously with this much ugliness in the world, I don't think it will be much longer until the 2nd coming.

That's it for now, I will try to be better in updating this with pictures. My stupid camera's USB Cable is messed up right now so for now, no new pics of us. Hopefully that will change.

Chelsea Handler & Margaret Cho

So my hubby and I absolutely ADORE Chelsea Handler & her mini assistant Chuy! We stay up to watch her show Chelsea Lately on E! every night. Chelsea is the light in my life. My sissy gave me her book My Horizontal Life for a b-day present and seriously the FUNNIEST book i have EVER read!!!! Thanks Emmy!

Well the other night she had Margaret Cho on her show and Margaret's mini assistant Seluna. Well they were there to promote their new show The Chow Show on VH1. Zac & I happened to catch that episode and were rolling on the floor laughing.

These two women are extraordinary comedians who definitely excel in their field.

So as you all probably know, Zac & I took our 2nd honeymoon to beautiful Las Vegas for 5 days. As some of you may know, our first honeymoon was just to Little America & I got pnuemonia. Talk about romantic!! We stayed at the Monte Carlo which we HIGHLY recommend. While we were there we took a Gondola Ride at The Venetian where we also went to Madame Tussad's the Wax Museum. The wax museum was AMAZING!!!! It was so much fun taking pictures with the mannequins (although at times we were ready to push them over & out of our way!)

Our first 6 months as a "real" family

I can't begin to tell you how happy I have been with my husband. Life has been so wonderful, it seems surreal sometimes! We have been together for 3 years on May 15th and it seems like we've known each other for so much longer.

Well we were married December 1, 2007 at The Barn in Roosevelt. A few of our close friends came, but alot didnt. Maybe cuz of the weather or because our friendship wasn't as strong as I thought it was. Either way we had a BLAST! Thank you for all of you who did treck the nasty roads and came!!!

I can't believe I found an actual prince! I seriously married the BEST man ever. I think that God made him just for me and vice versa for him. We finish each other's thoughts or sentences, and honestly, we know EVERYTHING about each other! Being with him has showed me true, everlasting love. Hopefully someday we can be sealed for eternity.

We spend every minute we can with each other and since we both work full time jobs, it's usually nights and weekends! lol. Since we love each other's company, we really don't need to be around people to have fun. He makes me laugh every single day, and I try to make him laugh, which usually works if I throw something dirty in ;) Unfortunately, we have lost a couple of friends because we are so close and just want to be with each other. It sucks, but you know, once you get married, everything changes. Like your outlook on life, your future, you current lifestyle! And we cannot WAIT to start our own family! We are practicing though!!! ;)

Let me catch you up on our lives if you haven't talked to us for a while.

Zac works for Blue Mountain Services and he is ALWAYS gone, but I can't complain cuz he's bringing in the money. He works more than 40 hours a week, he's the first one out and the last one in. He is getting super good at golfing and we'll be hanging out at the golf course quite a bit this summer!

I work for USU still and just finished my first 2 classes. That was a reality check for sure, since I hadn't taken classes since high school! So I am definitely going to skip Summer semester and maybe Fall, depends on when we decide we want our babies! I LOVE photography, I would love to learn how to take professional photos!

I have severe endometriosis, which is very painful and very irritating. The doctor said the only long term cure is having kids, so it's Doctors orders! :D

Little Bella & Chelsea are doing great! Bella always attacks Chelsea, which gives us a good laugh.

We have the most perfect family I could ever ask for!
Since we are no longer speaking to his family, we really lean on my family. My brothers are in Chile on missions for a year and a half longer which seems like FOREVER! I miss them like crazy already. When we were little, we were so mean to each other, and now I couldn't be more grateful for the relationship we share. I am a little bit closer to Reed, but once Greg comes home we will work on it.
My sissy Emmy Jane lives in Texas now. A piece of my heart went with her. She has been my best friend and my support system since in the uterus of our mother lol. I hate that she had to move, her husband Zak, got a job in Texas, and his family lives there too. It sucks that THEY get to spend time with her and not with us. But hopefully she realizes TExas blows and she will come home soon..

My mother Mary, works at Neola Elementary School and teaches the snotty little 4th graders!!! She is soo damn good at her job, and I can honestly say that this woman is my hero.

My papa, the avid fisherman, just returned from a 3 month tour in Iraq thank goodness! He fished in Sadam Hussein's private pond...crazy. He owns Basin Family Dentistry, and now he's just looking for a new assistant to replace Emmy, good luck papa!

I couldn't have asked God for a better set of parents than the ones I was blessed with. I am so thankful to have been given this family. I love all of you so very much!
